Hello

I was born here on the Iron Range of Minnesota but have traveled around the country while enlisted in the Navy.  My wife is from California, so we have spent time there with her family as well. I started making the canvas and leather bags and backpacks back in 2014 when we were going on a camping trip and needed some utility bags to hold our gear. I enjoy being creative and this gave me the opportunity to expand some of my ideas while making good use of my idle time.  I began giving away my bags to family and friends, and they all had great and different uses for the items I created.  In 2020 I ventured out of my comfort zone and started selling my bags at the Local Farmers Markets.  It turned out to be a great way to meet new people in the community.  I take my time and work hard at offering a product with exceptional craftsmanship in mind. My wife and I had a cabin on the Pike River and enjoyed many years at the cabin and on the river.  This is where the name Pike River Products came from.  In 2020 I wanted to expand my craft and move the sewing operation out of the basement of our house.  My wife and I chose the building at 515 Main St. in Tower, Minnesota as the new home for Pike River Products.  The space is a great opportunity to meet people from all over the world and in our community.
